Heather Davis is a core surgical trainee with an interest in general surgery, teaching and quality improvement. Heather has spoken nationally at several British Medical Association and Insight Education conferences, and recently presented a national study on weekday surgical handover at the Association of Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland (ASGBI) international conference. She has just completed a four-year term in the national British Medical Association Committee on Community Care, looking at improving the primary secondary care interface in the United Kingdom. When not at work, Heather works with the charity Oxbridge Mentoring Scheme to support young people aspiring to a career in medicine.
