Julia Rautenstrauch is a physician (MD) and communications expert. Julia previously worked as a medical journalist; Head of Press and Public Relations department of the German Cancer Research Centre, Heidelberg; General Secretary of MEDICA e.V. Deutsche Gesellschaft für Interdisziplinäre Medizin and Managing Director of MedCongress GmbH (PCO, full subsidiary of Reed Exhibitions GmbH), Stuttgart; General Secretary of the German Society of Rheumatology and Managing Director of the related CME Academy Rheumaakademie, Berlin. Since January 2017, she has been Executive Director of the European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR) in Kilchberg, Switzerland.
