Katie Stringer Lucero, PhD is the Director of Outcomes and Insights at Medscape Education. Katie has 18 years of experience in research and evaluation in developmental psychology, public health, health outcomes and education (K-12 and continuing medical education (CME)). At Medscape, Katie oversees and leads strategy in all endeavours where data are used to tell a story. Prior to that, she was Director of Research and Evaluation for McREL International where she was responsible for designing, pursuing and managing education evaluation and research studies. She was Primary Investigator for a $2.6mm grant from the US Department of Education and led a variety of programme evaluations. Finally, she directed numerous QI-CME and health outcomes studies at her tenure at Total Therapeutic Management (TTM) and evaluated public health programmes at the CDC. Katie earned her BS, MS and PhD at Auburn University, US in Human Development and Family Studies.
