Paul Scheffer completed his PhD in 2017 in sciences of education on how medical students can be better prepared in their medical education to cope with pharmaceutical promotion. Since 2019, Paul has been an active member of Formindep, a French non-profit organisation dealing with conflict of interests in health (https://formindep.fr). He is the President, and has particularly dedicated his work to bringing some changes in medical education nationally and internationally since 2017. He is also a staff member of the French independent drug bulletin Prescrire (https://english.prescrire.org/en/Summary.aspx).
