Graduating as a lawyer in Italy in 1994, Olga Salvidio has more than 15 years’ experience in Pharma Industry in the area of Medical Education and Academic Relationships. Currently, she is leading the Neurology and Immunology team within the Global Medical Education & Academic Organization Relations Unit at Merck Healthcare KGaA, Darmstadt Germany. Olga’s role includes strategic planning, development of medical education programme portfolio at global regional and country level, as well as development and management of company led medical education programmes and interventions aiming to improve knowledge and competencies of health professionals. In addition, she represents Merck within professional organisations such as European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA) Medical Education Working Group, International Pharmaceutical Alliance for Medical Education (iPACME) and Medical Affairs Professional Society (MAPS) Focus Area Working Group for External Education.
