Professor Don Moore

Vanderbilt University Medical Center, US

Don Moore is Professor of Medical Education and Administration at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, US. At the Vanderbilt University Medical Center, he serves as Director of Continuing Professional Development and Director of Evaluation for the American Medical Association (AMA)-funded Re-imagining Residency project. Don received an MA in history (emphasis China) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1975 and his PhD in education (emphasis continuing education) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1982. He has published over 60 articles and book chapters and presented over 240 lectures and workshops at local, national and international conferences. Don continues to work on: CME/CPD Outcomes Framework (Moore, 2003; Moore, Gallis, Green, JCEHP 2009; Moore, Chappell, Sherman, and Vinayaga-Pavan, Medical Teacher 2018); Learning in the healthcare practice setting (Moore, Pennington, JCEHP 2003; Moore, Fleming, Miller, 2018); and Master Adaptive Workplace.
