Wendy Walsh is the Continuing Medical Education (CME) Manager for UpToDate, an internet point of care resource produced by Wolters Kluwer, in Massachusetts, US. Wendy joined UpToDate in 2004 and is responsible for CME/CPD accreditation and compliance with national and international accreditation and regulatory bodies. She also works with internal project teams to build and improve features to further support clinicians in meeting their licensing and other professional certification requirements. Wendy moved to Boston in 2001 to work at Massachusetts General Hospital as a CME coordinator for the palliative care service. Wendy received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland and a Master’s of Public Health degree from Emory University. As a regular attendee of European CME Forum since 2012, Wendy is looking forward to sharing her experiences as a CME/CPD professional and learning from other stakeholders about their work to advance CME/CPD.
